Chiefs Injury Update: Justin Houston and Travis Kelce Ready to Play Sunday

Houston and Kelce missed time at practice this week but will be on the field on Sunday

Kansas City Chiefs' Head Coach Andy Reid had some good news to share regarding injuries following practice on Friday, as linebacker Justin Houston (calf), tight end Travis Kelce (concussion) and wide receivers Tyreek Hill (hamstring) and Albert Wilson (knee) will all play on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, barring any setbacks.

Each had either missed or been limited in practice this week.

Offensive guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (knee), center Mitch Morse (foot) and Steven Terrell (concussion) will not play on Sunday.

Duvernay-Tardif missed last week's game after injuring his knee two weeks ago against the Washington Redskins. Reid mentioned that the third-year offensive lineman is making progress, but isn't ready to go just yet.

"Larry is actually working in and doing a couple little things and is doing OK, but he'll be listed as out," Reid said.

Linebacker Dee Ford, who has missed the past three weeks with a back injury, returned to practice this week and will also play on Sunday.
