Chiefs Injury Update: LB Reggie Ragland Misses Practice on Thursday

Chiefs’ Head Coach Andy Reid provided an update on Ragland following practice

The Kansas City Chiefs kicked off Training Camp on Thursday without linebacker Reggie Ragland, who didn't participate in practice due to a knee injury.

Chiefs' Head Coach Andy Reid provided an update on Ragland following practice.

"We put Reggie on NFI (Non-Football Injury list). His knee puffed up on the flight here, it's that simple," Reid said. "He's in great shape and we're just going to let that calm down. It's a precautionary measure and I don't think it's anything to [worry about]."

Reid didn't seem concerned when asked about the injury further.

"He's been on a couple long trips," Reid explained. "He had to go to Mexico and do that for our Mexico trip, then he flew back [home] and flew here. Those things happen. I don't think this is an alarming thing. I'm not worried about it."

Here's a look at the other players that didn't practice on Thursday:
