Chiefs Injury Update: LB Reggie Ragland Misses Practice on Thursday

The Kansas City Chiefs kicked off Training Camp on Thursday without linebacker Reggie Ragland, who didn’t participate in practice due to a knee injury.

Chiefs’ Head Coach Andy Reid provided an update on Ragland following practice.

“We put Reggie on NFI (Non-Football Injury list). His knee puffed up on the flight here, it’s that simple,” Reid said. “He’s in great shape and we’re just going to let that calm down. It’s a precautionary measure and I don’t think it’s anything to [worry about].”

Reid didn’t seem concerned when asked about the injury further.

“He’s been on a couple long trips,” Reid explained. “He had to go to Mexico and do that for our Mexico trip, then he flew back [home] and flew here. Those things happen. I don’t think this is an alarming thing. I’m not worried about it.”

Here’s a look at the other players that didn’t practice on Thursday:
