Chiefs Now Have Eight Picks in the 2018 NFL Draft

Kansas City acquired a pair of draft picks on Wednesday

The Kansas City Chiefs made a pair of moves on Wednesday afternoon to begin the new league year, shaking up the order of next month's draft in the process.

The Chiefs acquired a third-round pick (No. 78 overall) along with cornerback Kendall Fuller from the Washington Redskins in exchange for quarterback Alex Smith, giving Kansas City a second pick in the third round.

In another move, Kansas City received two draft picks – a 2018 fourth-round selection (No. 124 overall) and a second-round pick in 2019 – in exchange for cornerback Marcus Peters and a sixth-round pick. 

Here's a rundown of where the Chiefs will be picking in next month's draft following the moves according to NFL.com.

Round 4 – No. 124 (from Los Angeles)
