Chiefs Place Dee Ford on Injured Reserve

Ford missed the Chiefs' last four games with a back injury

The Kansas City Chiefs placed linebacker Dee Ford on Injured Reserve on Thursday night.

Ford has battled a back injury throughout the year, playing in six of the Chiefs' 12 games. The fourth-year linebacker last played in Kansas City's Week 8 matchup against the Denver Broncos.

Ford recorded 13 tackles (11 solo), 2.0 sacks, four tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a pass defensed on the year.

In a corresponding roster move, the Chiefs signed defensive tackle Justin Hamilton to the active roster.
