Chiefs Recognize New and Extended Partnerships

A number of key partners are returning with partnership extensions

Ahead of Red Friday and the 2014 season opener, the Chiefs are recognizing a number of key partners that are returning to the Kansas City Chiefs with partnership extensions. Additionally, the club welcomes a number of new partners in 2014 with a like-minded business focus.

"All of the recent announcements and work within our corporate partnership department is a testament to the strength of the Chiefs brand and the tremendous support that we receive from our fans and the Kansas City community," Chiefs President Mark Donovan said. "The Hunt family and the entire Chiefs organization want to take this opportunity to thank these organizations who have extended their partnerships with us and we want to welcome our new partners to the Chiefs family.

In the past year, the Chiefs have announced partnership extensions or new partnerships with the following companies:

Anheuser-Busch: Representative of their commitment to the Kansas City Chiefs and the greater Kansas City community, Anheuser-Busch extended their long-term partnership with the Chiefs in the spring. In an effort to engage Chiefs fans, Anheuser-Busch is introducing Kingdom Red Ale. Working in conjunction with Levy Restaurants and Aramark, Kingdom Red Ale will be available to Chiefs fans inside Arrowhead Stadium this fall.

KCP&L: This past August, the Chiefs signed a long-term partnership agreement with the region's local utility company, KCP&L, making the company the club's Official Renewable Energy Supplier. The partnership focuses on solar energy solutions and community programs to help fans understand how they can apply renewable energy efforts at home.

Garmin: Last week, Garmin, which has a large employee base in the Kansas City area, signed a multi-year partnership with the Chiefs. With their VIRB Elite action camera, Garmin will help deliver new and unique content through the Chiefs Emmy Award-winning production department, 65 Toss Power Trap Productions. Additionally, the Chiefs and Garmin have introduced an employee health and wellness program centered on the company's vívofit fitness band.

zTrip: A local transportation organization focusing on safety and professionalism, zTrip provides an option for Chiefs fans in Kansas City to arrive home safely. Locally owned and operated as part of the Kansas City Transportation Group, zTrip offers a safe and effective solution for those individuals who are looking for an alternative method of getting to and from Arrowhead Stadium.

Kansas City Steak Company: As a growing business in the local market, Kansas City Steak Company entered into a partnership agreement with the Kansas City Chiefs, offering Chiefs fans access to unique food products from a local supplier. Building off the success of preseason programming and Emmy Award-winning content from 65 TPT Productions, the Kansas City Steak brand will be showcased in the local market. Midwest Ford Dealers: Recently, the Chiefs and the Midwest Ford Dealers signed a multi-year extension which will deliver new, prominent in-stadium signage located on the speaker cluster in the east end zone. The new addition will complement the Ford Fan Zone on the eight floor of the south side of the upper seating bowl and the Ford Fan Experience, which is a pregame entertainment option for all fans.
