Chiefs Replay: Week 14 vs. the San Diego Chargers

In the manner in which the NFL schedule is set up nowadays, where the slate is back loaded with division games, you can sometimes get exactly what happened for the Kansas City Chiefs (7-5) and San Diego Chargers (3-9) last December.

Just three weeks after the Chiefs routed the Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium, the Chargers traveled to Arrowhead for their rematch, and despite their 3-9 record, they came to Kansas City boasting the No. 6-ranked offense in the league.

Chiefs linebacker Justin Houston made a key play by returning an interception for a touchdown in the teams' first contest, but injury would keep him out of this one.

In his place, Dee Ford would have to step into the spotlight to fill his teammate's very big shoes.
