Chiefs Sign DL Jairus Campbell; Waive FB James Baker and DB David Van Dyke

The Chiefs made a few roster transactions Sunday afternoon

The Chiefs signed defensive lineman Jairus Campbell and waived both fullback James Baker as well as defensive back David Van Dyke.

Campbell, a 6-foot-5, 296-pound rookie out of Bowling Green State University, started 13 games last season and picked up 33 tackles.

Baker was put on the Reserve/Did Not Report list on July 24, while Van Dyke was signed on May 12 as a rookie free agent.
