The Kansas City Chiefs made a move Thursday, adding free agent fullback Ryan D'Imperio, the team announced today.

D'Imperio (6-3, 240) has played in 12 games (one start) in two NFL seasons with the Minnesota Vikings (2010-11).

After spending the 2010 season on the club's practice squad, D'Imperio was promoted to the active roster in October of 2011, recording two catches for seven yards.

He was released by the Vikings before last season.

The Sewell, New Jersey native originally entered the NFL as a seventh-round draft choice (237th overall) of the Vikings, in the 2010 NFL Draft.

The former Rutgers linebacker, D'Imperio recorded 185 tackles, seven sacks, two INTs, six passes defensed, one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries.

He prepped at Washington Township High School in Sewell, N.J.
