Chiefs Sign Free Agent Tackle Steven Baker

Team makes first player acquistion of Dorsey-Reid Era

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Thursday that the club has signed free agent offensive tackle Steven Baker.

Baker originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts in 2012. He was released by the Colts on Aug. 31 and joined the Arizona Cardinals practice squad roster on Sept. 3.

Baker played in 42 games at East Carolina, primarily serving as the school's right tackle and also contributing on special teams. The Rocky Mount, NC native prepped at Northern Nash High School, where he was a multi-sport athlete.
