• This week's matchup will mark the 118th regular-season meeting between the Chiefs and Chargers dating back to 1960.

• The game will mark the Chiefs' second trip to Mexico in franchise history. Kansas City played the Dallas Cowboys in the 1996 American Bowl (preseason) at Estadio Universitario in Monterrey, Mexico.

• The Chiefs hold a 61-56-1 advantage in the all-time series between the two teams.

• Kansas City has won nine out of the last 10 meetings with the Chargers, which included a nine-game winning streak from 2014-18. It tied the franchise record for the most consecutive wins over a single opponent since the AFL-NFL merger.
