Offensive Notes:

With an injury to starting running back Charandrick West, Spencer Ware recorded the most snaps he's had all season—22 (35 percent). Ware finished the day with 11 carries for 96 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns.

Defensive tackle Dontari Poe came in for 1 offensive snap in a fullback role and scored a touchdown.

Wide receiver Jason Avant took 34 snaps for 54 percent, his highest percentage since Week 3 against the Green Bay Packers.

Defensive Notes:

Cornerback Marcus Peters recorded the most snaps (58 for 97 percent) for the Chiefs defense.

After linebacker Dee Ford injured his back before the game and was listed as inactive, Dezman Moses stepped in for 20 snaps (33 percent).

LB Tamba Hali actually recorded more snaps (54) than Justin Houston (44) for the second week in a row. Hali had two sacks of opposing quarterback Philip Rivers.
