The Kansas City Chiefs (5-1) travel on a short week to take on the Oakland Raiders (2-4). The game can be watched nationally on CBS.
The Chiefs will be looking for their NFL-best seventh-straight win in primetime.
Both teams are coming off losses as the Chiefs dropped their first game of the season last Sunday to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 19-13, while the Raiders fell on a last-second field goal to the Los Angeles Chargers, 17-16.
There's plenty on the line for both teams in the next chapter of this historic rivalry.
Here are 10 stats to know for Chiefs-Raiders, presented by DraftKings:
1. Chiefs coach Andy Reid has been pretty good against this AFC West rival
The Chiefs have won five straight over the Raiders and are 7-1 overall since Reid joined the Chiefs before the 2013 season.
In those eight games, the Chiefs have outscored the Raiders by a score of 29 to 16 on average.
2. The Chiefs are currently streaking
The Chiefs have won 12-straight against the AFC West division, which is the longest active streak in the NFL for any team against a divisional opponent.
The Chiefs have also won nine-straight road games, which ties a franchise record that goes back more than 50 years (1966-67).
3. The basic offensive numbers for both teams favor the Chiefs
The numbers are on the two ends of the offensive spectrum.
The Chiefs' offense ranks second in the NFL by averaging 387 yards of total offense per game, while the Raiders rank near the bottom at just 278 yards per game, which ranks 30th.
The Chiefs also currently rank second in points scored—averaging 29.5 points per game, while the Raiders rank 18th in the league at 20.7 points per game.
4. Derek Carr has had his struggles against the Chiefs
Carr is 1-5 against the Chiefs in his career—completing just 55 percent of his passes with six touchdowns and five interceptions in those games.
The 4.92 yards per attempt is also the lowest for any team he's played more than once in his career.
5. These three core stats usually determine the winner
Outside of points scored, which is just obvious, the three core stats that often determine wins and losses in the NFL are third-down conversion percentage, red zone efficiency, and turnovers.
When being better in at least two of those three areas against the Raiders under Reid, the Chiefs have won all seven of their games when that's the case.
The only time the Raiders were better in two of those three areas, they won the game.
It was November 20, 2014; the Raiders finished 2 of 2 inside the red zone, while the Chiefs went just 1 of 3. The Raiders also converted 50 percent (8 of 16) of their third downs, while the Chiefs converted just 14 percent (2 of 14).
6. Kareem Hunt set an NFL record last week
Hunt became the first player in NFL history to begin their career with six-straight games with at least 100 total yards from scrimmage.
While Hunt had nine carries for just 21 yards last Sunday against the Steelers, he led the team with eight receptions for 89 yards.
In three of their six games this year, the Raiders allowed an opposing running back to gain more than 100 yards from scrimmage. The Chargers' Melvin Gordon had 150 yards and two touchdowns, while the Broncos' C.J. Anderson had 115 yards, and the Redskins' Chris Thompson had 188 yards with a touchdown as well.
The Raiders lost each of those games.
7. Alex Smith's numbers against the Raiders
Smith has been really good against the Raiders in his career, even dating back to before he joined the Chiefs. Smith is 9-1 in his career overall against the Raiders, and 7-1 with the Chiefs.
In those 10 games, Smith has completed 63 percent of his passes and tossed 19 touchdowns to just four interceptions.
In fact, to take it a step further, since joining the Chiefs, Smith has played in 67 games and in seven of them finished with better than a 9.89 yards per attempt average.
Four of those seven games have come against the Raiders, including both matchups last year, when he finished with a 10.15 and 10.18 yards per attempt average, respectively.
8. Khalil Mack is one of the best out there
Since coming into the NFL as the No. 5 overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft out of the University of Buffalo, edge rusher Khalil Mack ranks third in the NFL with 61 tackles for loss, and his 34 sacks rank seventh in the NFL.
Mack leads the Raiders with 14 quarterback pressures this year.
9. The Raiders' offensive line is pretty good
According to the folks over at Pro Football Focus, three of the top four-graded starters on the Raiders' offense are offensive linemen.
Center Rodney Hudson, who spent the first four years of his career with the Chiefs after being their second-round selection in 2011 (No. 55 overall) out of Florida State, hasn't allowed a single quarterback pressure in 210 pass-blocking snaps this season.
Hudson is their top-graded player for the Raiders' offense. Left tackle Donald Penn (No. 3) and left guard Kelechi Osemele (No. 4) are the other two top offensive linemen, along with receiver Michael Crabtree (No. 2).
10. Chiefs have opportunity for all-time winning record at the Oakland Coliseum
Dating back to their first meeting on September 18, 1966, which they won, 32-10, the Chiefs are 19-18-1 all-time against the Raiders at the Oakland Coliseum.
In fact, the Chiefs began with a 1-11-1 record in the first 13 games against the Raiders at the Coliseum, but have won 18 of the last 25.
And with the Raiders (supposedly) heading to Las Vegas in two years and there just two more opportunities to play there at the Coliseum, a win Thursday night guarantees the Chiefs an all-time winning record at the historic venue of their historic rival.
