Postgame information from the Chiefs fourth and final preseason game against the St. Louis Rams

PERFECT PRESEASON: Kansas City finished the preseason with a perfect 4-0 record, the first time the club has finished with that record since the four-game preseason schedule was introduced in 1978. The last time Kansas City was unbeaten in the preseason was the 1969 season (6-0) when the club went on to win Super Bowl IV vs. the Minnesota Vikings.

PRESEASON POINT DIFFERENTIAL: The Chiefs finished the preseason with a +47 point differential (106 for, 59 against), which ranks first in the AFC. The +47 point differential ranks second in the NFL behind Philadelphia (+56).

Kansas City scored 106 points over four preseason games, ranking first in the AFC and second in the NFL behind Philadelphia (133 points). The Chiefs only allowed 59 points in the preseason. With three games left to conclude tonight, Kansas City's 59 points allowed ranked 9th in the NFL and ranked 5th in the AFC.

SORENSEN LOGS INT: On the Rams first offensive possession, S Daniel Sorensen intercepted a QB Nick Foles pass and returned it 26 yards to set up the offense on the eight-yard line. This marks the third interception logged this preseason. LBs Ramik Wilson and Frank Zombo each recorded an interception at Arizona and vs. Tennessee, respectively, this preseason.

QUICK STRIKE OFFENSE: The Chiefs offense punched it in quickly on a two-play, eight-yard scoring drive ending with FB Spencer Ware scoring on a one-yard run. The drive took just 39 seconds, which is the quickest TD drive the Chiefs have registered this preseason.

DANIEL PERFECT ON DRIVE: QB Chase Daniel marched the offense down the field on a 12-play, 80-yard drive that was capped with a 15-yard TD connection with Conley. Daniel was 7 for 7, connecting with six different pass catchers on the drive. Daniel also logged a 14-yard rush on the drive.

Daniel finished the preseason completing 41 of 53 passes for 388 yards with five touchdowns and one interception, good for a 120.6 passer rating.

CONLEY SCORES FIRST NFL TD: QB Chase Daniel hit rookie WR Chris Conley on a 15-yard TD completion, marking his first TD with the Chiefs.

TURNOVER ON DOWNS: The Chiefs defense stood strong on fourth down as the Rams failed to convert two fourth down attempts in tonight's contest.

THIRD DOWN DEFENSE STOUT: The Chiefs defense was stout on third down as the Rams failed all five third-down attempts in the first half of the game. St. Louis finished the contest converting 3 of 12 third down attempts (25%).

SANTOS PERFECT ON FGs IN PRESEASON: K Cairo Santos booted a 23-yard FG in tonight's contest. He converted all five of his FG attempts this preseason. He added 11 PATs to lead the team in scoring with 26 points.

MURRAY LEADS TD DRIVE: QB Aaron Murray entered the contest in the second half and marched the offense down the field on a 10-play, 81-yard drive, culminating with a 12-yard TD connection with RB Darrin Reaves.

Murray finished the preseason completing 26 of 36 passes for 232 yards with three TDs and one INT, good enough for a 105.3 passer rating.

REAVES LEADS WAY: RB Darrin Reaves led the team in scrimmage yards in tonight's contest with 82 yards. He recorded eight catches for 42 yards with one TD. He added 14 rushes for 40 yards.

TEAM EFFORT: Through four preseason games, there have been eight different pass catchers to score a TD and two different players to log a rushing TD. WR Fred Williams led the team scoring three receiving TDs.
