Chiefs vs. Seahawks Snap Counts: Kelce Rarely Came Off Field

A look at the snap counts and playtime percentages for the Chiefs on Sunday

Offense

  • Travis Kelce played 46 of the 48 snaps (96 percent) for the Chiefs offense.
  • Dwayne Bowe (73 percent), Frankie Hammond (67 percent), Junior Hemingway (50 percent) and De'Anthony Thomas (33 percent) all mixed in at receiver.
  • Donald Stephenson saw six snaps on offense as the "extra" offensive lineman, as all five starting offensive lineman played 100 percent of the snaps.

Defense

  • The Chiefs used four defensive linemen in a number of situations on Sunday, compared to their usual three in base defense. Dontari Poe (97 percent), Allen Bailey (90 percent), Jaye Howard (41 percent), Kevin Vickerson (25 percent) and Vance Walker (15 percent) all rotated in for the Chiefs.
  • For the second week in a row, safety Eric Berry played 100 percent of the defensive snaps.
  • With Chris Owens and Jamell Fleming out for the Chiefs, rookie Chris Owens stepped in and played 70 percent of the defensive snaps for the Chiefs defense.
