Series History

• This week's matchup will mark the 53rd meeting between the two franchises, dating back to the Titans' tenure as the Houston Oilers.

• The Chiefs own a 29-23 mark in the all-time series, including a 27-22 advantage in the regular season.

• The Dallas Texans (who later became the Chiefs) and the Oilers met in the 1962 AFL Championship Game, which marked Dallas' first appearance in the league title game. Chiefs Founder Lamar Hunt's Texans topped the Oilers, 20-17, in a double-overtime thriller.
