Series History • This week's matchup is the 12th time the Chiefs and Vikings are facing. This week's game is a rematch of Super Bowl IV, a game in which the Chiefs defense forced five Vikings turnovers en route to a 23-7 win.
• Sunday afternoon's game will be the first time the Chiefs have played in Minnesota since Week 16 of the 2003 season. It will also be the first time Kansas City has played at TCF Bank Stadium.
• Through the 11 times the two teams have matched up, the Chiefs hold a 7-4 advantage, with their last loss coming in 2003.
• The two clubs most recently played in Week Four of the 2011 season at Arrowhead stadium, with the Chiefs coming out on top, 22-17. WR Dwayne Bowe recorded a 52-yard touchdown reception that day, the only Chiefs TD of the game.
