Chiefs Waive DL Brandon Moore

Team's roster continues to form in 2014

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Friday that the club has waived defensive lineman Brandon Moore.

Moore (6-5, 317) originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the San Diego Chargers on April 27, 2013.

He spent the majority of the 2013 season on the Chargers practice squad, before joining the Denver Broncos practice squad roster on Nov. 28. Moore was released by the Broncos on Dec. 31.

He played one season at the University of Texas, after transferring from East Mississippi Community College. Moore spent his first two collegiate seasons at the University of Alabama.

At EMCC, he recorded 41 tackles (25 solo), four tackles for loss, three sacks and nine pressures en route to a 12-0 record and an NJCAA National Championship in 2011.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., he prepped at Carver High School in Montgomery, Ala.
