Offensive Notes:

Offensive lineman Jah Reid entered the game at right guard when Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (16 snaps) suffered a concussion. Reid played in 48 snaps (76 percent) in place of Duvernay-Tardif.

Tight end Travis Kelce led all skill position players in snaps with 55 (87 percent). Kelce also led the team with 8 receptions for 128 yards receiving on the day.

With wide receiver Jeremy Maclin leaving the game in the third quarter, Chris Conley garnered an increased number of snaps. He had 44 (70 percent) with the offense by game's end. Conley had just 1 catch on the day, but it was for a 9-yard touchdown.

Defensive Notes:

Only one Chiefs defender played in 100 percent of snaps (64) against the Texans—defensive back Ron Parker.

S Husain Abdullah saw 31 snaps (48 percent) and linebacker Justin Houston saw 44 snaps (69 percent) in their returns to the lineup.

LB Tamba Hali continued to see a limited number of snaps (15 for 23 percent) as he deals with thumb and knee injuries.
