"We are saddened by the loss of Ed Sabol – an innovator, a visionary and a man of character. As fans, Ed's camera lens was our window to the theatre of pro football, and his creativity changed the way we watch America's Game. The memories that Ed and his son Steve created will last forever. Ed will be greatly missed by our family and the entire National Football League."
