Cornerback Marcus Peters is the AFC Defensive Player of the Week

It’s been a good 24 hours for the Chiefs rookie

Kansas City Chiefs rookie cornerback Marcus Peters has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his game against the Baltimore Ravens this past Sunday.

Peters had 2 interceptions on back-to-back Baltimore drives in the fourth quarter, including a 90-yard interception return touchdown that sealed the 34-14 win for the Chiefs.

The NFL also named the rookie first-round pick to his first Pro Bowl on Tuesday night.
