Fans Receive 'First Look' at 2014 Chiefs

Suite Members and Season Ticket Members receive exclusive opportunity

Mandatory Minicamp began this week and Chiefs Suite Members and Season Ticket Members (STM) had a front row seat, catching an exclusive glimpse of the Chiefs at the second annual event, First Look 2014.

"This event is an opportunity for us to say 'thank you' to the fans for their continued support of the organization," Kellen Begnoche, Chiefs Suites Services Manager, explained. "We felt it was important to open the doors and let the fans have the behind-the-scenes 'First Look' at all of the hard work the players and coaches have been putting in this offseason."

Chiefs Suite Members and Season Ticket Members caught an exclusive glimpse of the Chiefs at the second annual First Look 2014.

The Chiefs hosted fans at the University of Kansas Hospital Training Complex for Day Two of Minicamp. Bleachers lined the edges of the practice field for Suite Members and STMs to get an up-close and personal look at the team.

"It was really cool to be so close to the practice field and to watch the different drills, hear the coaches, see the scrimmages; it's great to be able to see what they do on a daily basis," Ryan Anderson, Suite Member for 2 years, noted. "It's an incredible experience being able to see behind the curtain and to be able to watch a normally closed practice is amazing."

Chiefs fans also met Head Coach Andy Reid, General Manager John Dorsey and some former Chiefs players including Bobby Bell, Anthony Davis, Kevin Lockett, Keith Cash and Eddie Kennison.

"I saw Anthony Davis and met Bobby Bell, I'm so shocked that we get to watch practice and see these celebrities," Cindy Brunson, STM for 30 years, said. "It means the world to me to be a part of the Chiefs Kingdom and be at Arrowhead on game days, so this is really special. I loved this event, I really enjoyed it."

Brunson received two tickets to First Look 2014 by redeeming her Kingdom Pass points through ChiefsKingdomPass.com and was thrilled to be a part of the event. Brunson and her son made the two and a half hour drive from Des Moines, Iowa to attend the event and said it was well worth it.

"I think the First Look event was fantastic and definitely worth the points I redeemed and the drive," Brunson commented. "We made the drive down here and ended up having such a great time. They're so many new faces on the team this year, so it's great to see them first-hand before the season even starts."

The atmosphere and the guests were high spirited and enthusiastic; they were delighted to have the chance to take a look at the Chiefs practice and at the 2014 team.

"It was a lot of fun to watch the team practice and get ready for the season," Brandon Jackson, STM for 10 years, said. "We were steps away from the players, which was incredible. You can't even get these kind of seats at a game or at training camp. We're right here in the action, it's really cool and gets you excited for the season."
