Fullback Anthony Sherman Makes NFL.com's All-Underrated Team

NFL analyst Elliot Harrison calls the Chiefs fullback “the best player on this list you’ve never heard of”

Elliot Harrison of NFL Media released his “All-Underrated Team” Monday and on the list, you will find Chiefs fullback Anthony Sherman.

Here's what Harrison says about the fullback entering his fifth season in 2015:*

Sherman is perhaps the best player on this list you've never heard of ... well, unless you're the kind of Chiefs fan who has a Tony Richardson jersey in your room. Though he's fully capable of blocking on passing or rushing downs, Sherman has been particularly effective leading the way for star running back Jamaal Charles. The Chiefs finished fifth in yards per rush in each of the last two seasons.

Sherman, who the Chiefs signed to a contract extension last November, also plays a critical role for Kansas City on special teams.

He tied for second in the league in forced fumbles with 4 in 2014 despite being an offensive player.
