Halftime Recap: Vikings Lead Chiefs, 10-0, After Two Quarters of Play

Chiefs Run Defense Limiting Vikings Back Adrian Peterson

Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is 11 of 19 for 176 yards passing and a touchdown as the Minnesota Vikings lead the Kansas City Chiefs, 10-0, through the first half of play at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn.

The Vikings struck first with a field goal in the first quarter and then continued building upon their lead late in the second. Bridgewater connected with tight end Kyle Rudolph for Rudolph's second touchdown of the season and a 10-0 lead before halftime.

Chiefs safety Ron Parker recorded his first interception of the season during the first quarter.

The Chiefs defense has held running back Adrian Peterson to just 16 yards rushing on 17 carries.

Quarterback Alex Smith is 7 for 11 for 43 yards passing.
