Houston Continues to Rest His Knee, Misses Practice

Houston was the only player that didn’t practice in some capacity on Thursday

Linebacker Justin Houston didn't practice on Thursday as he continues to rest his knee.

Houston has been dealing with swelling in his knee for the past two weeks following the game against the Tennessee Titans. He hasn't practiced since that game and missed last week's contest against the Denver Broncos.

The sixth-year linebacker had played in five straight games after returning from offseason knee surgery before missing last week's game, tallying 20 solo tackles and 4.0 sacks in that time.

Houston was the only player absent from practice on Thursday, as everybody else practiced in some capacity. That includes running back Spencer Ware, who was dealing with bruised ribs following the game against Denver but returned to practice on Wednesday.
