KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, October 18 at Arrowhead Stadium. Fans can find important information and reminders regarding Sunday's game below.
Crucial Catch
Sunday's matchup will be the Chiefs "Crucial Catch" game. Crucial Catch: Intercept Cancer aims to move the country towards unprecedented levels of early detection and risk reduction of screenable cancers. The initiative allows the NFL to reach and impact a wider population affected by various forms of cancer. Crucial Catch calls on people across the country to access an NFL funded digital tool that provides users with recommendations on how they can take action to keep healthy and reduce cancer risk.
Game Entertainment
The national anthem will be performed by Kelsie Watts, a Broadway star, recording artist and 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards nominee. Best known for her roles in Moulin Rouge! and SIX, Watts has generated more than 350 million views across social media and recently took the No. 1 slot in the worldwide Top 100 Digital Radio Chart with her single 'Made For Your Love.'
Following the national anthem, four T-38 Talons will conduct a flyover. The planes will fly out of Vance Air Force Base in Garfield County, Oklahoma.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard will present Sunday's colors.
At halftime, the Chiefs will honor seven cancer survivors and their physicians in a "Crucial Catch" tribute. They will be recognized on the field and ring the ceremonial Crucial Catch Bell to celebrate beating their fights against cancer.

Drum Deck
The Chiefs introduced the Drum Deck in 2019 as the home for two gameday traditions – the Drum Honoree and the Tony DiPardo Spirit Leader.
Kansas City Royals Catcher Carter Jensen will serve as the Drum Deck Honoree.
Jensen recently wrapped up a historic rookie campaign, where he took over the bulk of the team's catching duties, while also making his mark at the plate. He tallied 126 hits, 27 home runs (the most by a rookie catcher in Royals history), 35 doubles, and added 81 RBI. In September, the Kansas City-native earned both the American League Rookie of the Month and American League Player of the Month honors. Jensen was recently named to MLB Pipeline's 2026 All-Rookie First Team.
The Tony DiPardo Spirit Leader will be SSG Christian Feltson.
Feltson is a Human Resources Sergeant at Fort Leavenworth and serves as the Mission Command Training Program Admin Enlisted Personnel Services Noncommissioned Officer. In his more than seven years in the Army, SSG Feltson has earned four Army Commendation Medals, two Army Achievement Medals, and a Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal for his work in the community.
Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat presented by United Airlines
To help celebrate the franchise's 60th season in 2019, the Kansas City Chiefs introduced the Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat at Arrowhead Stadium. For each home game, the club selects a Season Ticket Member to honor with this special recognition. The two gold seats are located in Section 121 of the lower bowl, symbolically positioned under Lamar Hunt's name in the team's Ring of Honor.
This week's Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat honoree, presented by United Airlines, is Angela Huff.
Huff is a 14-year Season Ticket Member and breast cancer survivor. She received her diagnosis during her first year as a Season Ticket Member and credits the early detection and exceptional care she received from The University of Kansas Health System with saving her life. Today, Huff serves as the clinical leader of a nationally recognized team of experts supporting home health and hospice care providers across the country.
