Important Information for Saturday's Kenny Chesney Concert at Arrowhead Stadium

As part of the 2018 Arrowhead Concert Series presented by the Cocherl Family Foundation,Arrowhead Events, the special events arm of the Kansas City Chiefs, will host Kenny Chesney's 2018 Trip Around The Sun Tour on Saturday evening at Arrowhead Stadium. The concert is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. with Brandon Lay, Old Dominion and Thomas Rhett opening for country music superstar, Kenny Chesney. Concertgoers can find important information and reminders about Saturday's concert below.

HEAT WARNING

Temperatures for Saturday's concert are forecasted to exceed 90 degrees, so the club is recommending fans take the following precautions to protect themselves from the heat:

  • Stay hydrated, use sunscreen and wear light-colored, loose-fitting clothing.
  • Guests may bring one factory-sealed bottle of water into Arrowhead Stadium.
  • Water fountains are located behind sections 127, 129, 228, 243, 327, 332 and 344.
  • Fans can get a cup at any Fans First Booth, which can be filled at any of the water fountains located throughout the stadium.
  • Anyone experiencing difficulties with the heat is advised to visit one of The University of Kansas Health System First Aid Stations located behind sections 114, 132, 241, 307, 329 and 339.

PARKING GATES

Parking lots for Saturday's concert open at 2 p.m. Fans are encouraged to purchase their parking passes in advance to decrease the time spent at parking tollgates and help expedite the parking process for all event attendees. Parking passes can be purchased in advance for $30 at the Chiefs Ticket Office or online at www.chiefs.com/parking (with applicable Ticketmaster fees). Bus parking is $70 in advance. Cash parking at the tollgate on event day will be $40 and bus parking on event day will be $100.

STADIUM GATES AND ENTRY

All Arrowhead Stadium gates will open at 4 p.m. for the 5 p.m. concert. Guests with tickets in the lower bowl, upper bowl and on Scout Investments Club Level can enter at any gate.

Sandbar Tickets

Guests with tickets in the Sandbar must enter through Plaza Gate East to secure their wristbands. Plaza Gate East is located on the northeast side of the stadium between the Founder's Plaza Gate and the Sprint Gate.

Floor Seating

Guests with tickets in floor seats must enter through Gate G to receive their wristbands. Gate G is located on the west side of the stadium between the CommunityAmerica Gate and the Hy-Vee Gate.

FORD TAILGATE DISTRICT

Making its debut ahead of the 2018 football season, the reimagined Ford Tailgate District will be open to all fans for Saturday's concert. This free space, located in Lot M near the Founder's Plaza on the north side of the stadium, will feature drink specials, food trucks and live entertainment throughout the afternoon. The Ford Tailgate District will be open at 2 p.m. and will remain open until 6 p.m.

The NFL's clear bag policy is in place for all Arrowhead Stadium events. Fans can visit www.nfl.com/allclear or https://www.chiefs.com/stadium/clearbag for important information on the clear bag policy and a complete list of permitted and prohibited items. ABOUT THE COCHERL FAMILY FOUNDATION

Formed in 2003, the Cocherl Family Foundation is a 501(c)(3) grant-writing organization focused on helping children as well as critical outreach programs in the local community. Through sponsorship of the 2018 Arrowhead Concert Series, the Foundation is directing proceeds to three target areas, including: helping fund post-secondary scholarships for high school students who have physical or mental challenges; helping children who have lost parents while serving in the U.S. military receive their education, specifically directing efforts to youth connected to Special Operations Wounded Warriors (SOWW); and, helping fund local first responders with additional resources for performing their jobs. In addition to Kenny Chesney's 2018 Trip Around The Sun Tour, the 2018 Arrowhead Concert Series includes Taylor Swift's Reputation Stadium Touron Saturday, September 8 and Ed Sheeran's ÷ Touron Saturday, October 13.
