Kansas City Chiefs Unveil 2026 Schedule with Original Comedy Concept Featuring Rob Riggle and Lisa Gilroy

QVChiefs - Kingdom Schedule Release Shopping Network - Offered Schedule-Themed Items

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs have officially unveiled their 2026 schedule, presented by Ticketmaster, debuting a new original television shopping-inspired video that brings fans into a nostalgic, 90s-inspired comedy world – complete with appearances from Rob Riggle and Lisa Gilroy, alongside a cast of recognizable team personalities who help bring the full schedule to life.

Built entirely in-house – from concept and script to production and final edit – this year's campaign showcases the organization's continued commitment to creative storytelling at the intersection of sports, media, and entertainment.

"Every year, we look at schedule release as a chance to surprise our fans and show a different side of the Chiefs brand," said Lara Krug, Kansas City Chiefs EVP & Chief Media and Marketing Officer. "What was once a simple announcement has become a true cultural moment across the NFL – an opportunity for clubs to create content that entertains, sparks conversation, and connects with fans in new ways. We've continued to lean into humor and our own point of view, working with incredible members of Chiefs Kingdom, including talented comedians like Rob and Lisa, who bring an authentic, fun energy to the campaign. I'm especially proud that this idea and production came from within the creative walls of our own organization. It speaks to the strength of our team and our commitment to delivering memorable experiences for fans well beyond the game itself."

Throughout the video, Rob and Lisa lean into the concept with a series of comedic moments that anchor the campaign and guide fans through the 2026 schedule reveal, from on-air schedule "deals" to over-the-top product pitches and signature host banter.

"I love what the Chiefs are doing," said American actor and comedian Rob Riggle. "They always do things that are funny and creative. It's awesome to be part of schedule release."

"When the Chiefs reached out, I thought they wanted me to play for the team because I'm very strong and fast," said Canadian actress and comedian Lisa Gilroy. "But when I found out it was for a 90s comedy bit for the schedule release, I thought, that's actually better."

Featured directly within the video, fans can call a dedicated phone line to hear surprise messages from celebrity voices, members of the Chiefs organization, and for a chance to win signed memorabilia.
