Kansas City Leads Denver, 17-3, at Halftime

The Chiefs forced three turnovers in the half

The Kansas City Chiefs are leading the Denver Broncos, 17-3, at halftime on Monday Night Football at Arrowhead Stadium.

Cornerback Marcus Peters recovered a fumble for a 45-yard touchdown and later added an interception in a dominant defensive showing for Kansas City, as the Chiefs held Denver to just 108 yards of offense.

The pick was Peters' league-leading 17th since 2015.

Quarterback Alex Smith completed nine of 17 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown, finding tight end Travis Kelce for a 29-yard score.

Kelce recorded a team-leading five catches for 89 yards in the half.
