Kansas City leads Tennessee, 13-3, at Halftime of Preseason Finale

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed nine of 16 passes for 183 yards in the half

The Kansas City Chiefs lead the Tennessee Titans, 13-3, at halftime as both teams close out the preseason on Thursday night at Arrowhead Stadium.

Rookie wide receiver Jehu Chesson was responsible for Kansas City's first score of the half, returning a Tennessee punt 76 yards for a touchdown. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes  later led Kansas City on a three-play scoring drive as the half came to a close, finding wide receiver Demarcus Robinson for a 28-yard touchdown.

Mahomes played the entire half, completing nine of 16 passes for 183 yards. The bulk of that yardage was hauled in by Robinson, who, in addition to his 28-yard touchdown grab, caught passes of 53 and 46 yards. The two combined for 127 yards through the air in the half.

Rookie linebacker Ukeme Eligwe was all over the field for Kansas City, leading all defenders with six tackles (4.0 solo) and an interception.
