Cornerback Marcus Peters returned to practice on Wednesday.

"[Peters] is going to go today and we'll just see how he does rep-wise," Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said.

Peters was a game-time decision on Sunday but was eventually ruled inactive with a hip pointer. He suffered the injury two weeks ago in the fourth quarter of Kansas City's win over the Carolina Panthers.

Dee Ford

Linebacker Dee Ford didn't practice on Wednesday with a hamstring strain.

"We're taking it day-to-day. If you talk to him, he's upbeat about everything, so we'll just have to see how it goes," Reid said.

Ford left last week's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the third quarter and did not return.

Charcandrick West

Running back Charcandrick West is still in concussion protocol and did not practice.

West suffered the injury late in the fourth quarter on Sunday.

Jeremy Maclin

Reid said wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is "making progress" in his return from a groin strain but did not practice on Wednesday.

Maclin has missed the last two weeks after leaving early in the first quarter three weeks ago against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
