QBs, Rookies and Injured Players Report to Chiefs Camp on Tuesday

Training camp officially begins on Tuesday

The time is finally here.

On Tuesday, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterbacks, rookies and injured players will report to training camp on the campus of Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.

Select players will speak with the media from 2 to 3 p.m., and Coach Reid will speak at 3 p.m.

This group of players will have three practices this week before the rest of the veterans report to camp on Friday.

The first official team practice that's open to the public will be on Saturday, August 1.

With plenty of new faces joining the team in 2015, training camp will be the most important time of the year in perfecting the techniques taught to them by their positional coaches, learning their schemes and responsibilities and simply coming together as a team.

These players will be spending quite a bit of time together over the next few weeks as they revert back to college life and live together in the dorms at Missouri Western.

Fans can come out and watch the Chiefs prepare for a 2015 season that's full of optimism after an offseason highlighted by several moves, including the signing of free agent receiver Jeremy Maclin, the trade for two-time Pro Bowl offensive lineman Ben Grubbs and the re-signing of the NFL's sack leader from a season ago, Justin Houston.

As the 2015 Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp nears the team begin preparations for the move to their temporary home at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri.
