On Nov. 6, 2014, the National Football League announced that the Kansas City Chiefs were selected to host a regular season game at London's Wembley Stadium as part of the NFL's International Series. Tickets for the Chiefs vs. Lions game go on sale to Chiefs Season Ticket Members at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14. In addition, ticket packages available to all fans through NFL On Location will go on sale Tuesday. Kickoff for the game is set for 2:30 p.m. (London)/8:30 a.m. (CT) on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015.
Chiefs Season Ticket Members will receive an email with instructions and details on how to purchase tickets for the club's first-ever international regular season contest. The on-sale for Season Ticket Members will last until 10 p.m. CT on Monday, May 4. There is a four-ticket limit on all Chiefs Season Ticket Member purchases for the International Series game in London.

The Chiefs Week 8 contest vs. Detroit will be one of three NFL games taking place in the United Kingdom in 2015. The game will be televised live locally and nationally on FOX. NFL International was formed in October of 1996, while the league has held at least one regular season game in London each year since 2007. In total, 17 clubs have played games in London since 2007.
