Several Chiefs to Make Their Voices Heard on Thursday Night with Custom Helmet Decals

Numerous players will wear helmet decals that identify an individual or phrase important to them in the fight against social injustice

The Kansas City Chiefs kick off the 2020 season on Thursday night at Arrowhead Stadium as they prepare to defend their Super Bowl title, but after an offseason in which players made their voices heard in response to social injustice, this game is about so much more than just the final score.

Those voices were brought to the forefront by the senseless murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery earlier this year, which provided a grievous reminder of the inequality that exists in our nation and inspired players across the NFL to take a stand.
