Six NFL.com Analysts Pick Chiefs to Win AFC West

According to the experts, the division will come down to Kansas City and Denver

With just one week to go before the start of the regular season, the analysts at NFL.com are making their predictions for each division's winners.

When it comes to the AFC West, six out of 13 analysts say the Chiefs will win the division.

"The snickers about Alex Smith's game subside after the veteran leads the Chiefs to a division title," Bucky Brooks said. "The former No. 1 overall pick shows more playmaking skills directing a diverse offense that packs a surprising punch."

The remaining seven analysts believe that the Denver Broncos will win the division for the fifth season in a row.
