Snap Counts: Who Filled in For the Injured Hali and Houston?

Here are the playtime percentages for the Chiefs on Sunday

Offensive Notes:

Tight end Travis Kelce led all Chiefs skill position players in snaps with 53 (98 percent). Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin had 49 (91 percent). Both scored a touchdown for the Chiefs Sunday.

Running back Charcandrick West had 48 snaps (89 percent), while Spencer Ware had 6 (11 percent).  

WR Chris Conley saw 19 snaps (35 percent), the most time he's had on the field since the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7, when Maclin was out.

Cleveland Browns WR Dwayne Bowe saw 31 snaps (46 percent) in his return to Arrowhead Stadium.

Defensive Notes:

In the absence of Tamba Hali and Justin Houston, linebackers Frank Zombo and Dee Ford were on the field for every Chiefs defensive snap (68). Safety Eric Berry, LB Derrick Johnson, S Ron Parker, cornerback Marcus Peters and CB Sean Smith also never left the field.

S Daniel Sorensen went "20 and 20," taking 20 snaps (29 percent) on defense and 20 snaps (87 percent) on special teams. Sorensen blocked a field goal at the end of the first half on Sunday.

S Tyvon Branch continued to see more playing time (40 snaps, 59 percent) in the absence of Husain Abdullah, who continues to deal with a concussion.
