Ticketmaster Modern Accounts FAQs

Why are the Chiefs making this change?

This change is coming from Ticketmaster to create a better experience for ticket holders by connecting their log in information across accounts on the Ticketmaster platform. This change will make it easier to access different accounts and provide better security.

How does this benefit me?

This upgraded sign-in experience protects accounts against account takeovers to ensure only you have access to your tickets. Also, previously ticket holders could have two separate login credentials for their Chiefs ticket account and their Ticketmaster account. These two accounts will now be connected, so a change to your Chiefs ticket account (such as an email change) will now automatically update in your Ticketmaster account. This will also update any accounts connected to your email address with Ticketmaster.

Is my Chiefs representative still able to reset my password for me?

No. For the security of accounts, ticket holders must request a new password online themselves.  You can select "Forgot Password?" after entering your email address at sign-in to receive an email or a text message with a one-time code to reset your password.

TM FAQ 5

How can I change my account information?

Account information including your address, email address, phone number and password can be updated in the My Profile section of your online Chiefs account.

Why am I being asked to enter a phone number when I sign in?

To ensure it is you, we are requiring each account to have a phone number associated with it. This phone number can be updated via your online Chiefs account profile.

TM FAQ 3

My account is associated with an email address I can no longer access. How can I change my sign-in credentials?

Contact the Box Office and have them unlink your email from your Ticketmaster account. They will then change the email on your account to a new email of your choice. When you sign in again, you will use the new email address.
