- Miscellaneous: Father, Doug, played QB at Idaho, winning the 1993 Walter Payton Award as the top player in Division 1-AA (now called FCS). He was selected in the fourth round of the 1994 NFL Draft by the Saints and spent six years in the NFL and one in the Canadian Football League. He started coaching in 2001, bouncing between college and pro programs, with his longest NFL tenure being with the Cowboys (2018-2022). He was the Eagles’ QB coach when they won the Super Bowl in 2024, then became offensive coordinator of the New Orleans Saints the next year. Brother, Colton, is a top-rated lefty QB prospect in the Class of 2027.
