With the NFL in town, Chiefs Kingdom landed in Ireland for the very first time and brought a weekend full of red and gold spirit to Dublin. From Thursday, 25 September until Sunday, 28 September, Murray's Bar and Grill was transformed into an immersive Chiefs world and became the beating heart of Chiefs Kingdom in Dublin. With banners and flags covering the façade, it became an unmissable landmark in the city for NFL fans, curious locals, and international visitors alike.
KC O'Wolf's Irish Debut
The official Chiefs House opening on Thursday brought a very special premiere: the first-ever appearance of KC O'Wolf in Ireland. Jumping out of the back of a vintage Land Rover Defender, he was welcomed by Chiefs Legend Dustin Colquitt and immediately won over the crowd. Together they kicked off a great first night filled with photo opportunities, a live caricature artist drawing Chiefs House portraits for fans, and a DJ set that kept the atmosphere buzzing.
Activities and Fan Fun
On Friday and Saturday, the fun continued. Fans could step up at the Chiefs House Press Conference to give their own press conference, compare their stats with Chiefs players like Patrick Mahomes and Nick Bolton, or try on real Chiefs shoulder pads and helmets – a unique opportunity that had everyone smiling and snapping photos. KC O'Wolf wandered through the pub, entertaining guests with his usual shenanigans and endless selfies.
Legends on Stage
The highlight on Friday evening was the Legends Chat with Dustin Colquitt and Gaelic Football legend Philly McMahon, moderated by journalist Marie Crowe. In a lively and inspiring conversation, they talked about their careers, differences between American football and Gaelic football, and what both sports mean beyond the pitch. Fans were fascinated – and afterwards had the chance to meet both legends for autographs and photos. For many, an unforgettable moment.
Irish Busking Star Meets Chiefs Kingdom
Saturday brought another chance for fans to meet Dustin Colquitt, and in the evening Chiefs House hosted a very special guest: Dublin's own social media star and busker Allie Sherlock. Her live set of new hits and classics turned the pub into an intimate concert space, mixing Irish soul with Chiefs Kingdom spirit.
Watch Party Sunday
The grand finale came on Sunday with the official watch party for the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Baltimore Ravens game. The pub was packed – local fans, international visitors, even supporters of other teams joined in. Every touchdown was celebrated like a home game when the Chiefs sealed their dominant win. It was the perfect finale to a great weekend and an amazing Journey Through the Heart of the Kingdom.
