Chiefs to Host Two STM Days Presented by GEHA at Arrowhead Stadium during 2020 Training Camp

With the approval of a reduced-capacity plan for fans to return to Arrowhead Stadium in 2020 that was announced yesterday, the Kansas City Chiefs will host two special Season Ticket Member days at Arrowhead during 2020 Chiefs Training Camp presented by CommunityAmerica Credit Union.

The first Season Ticket Member day will be on Saturday, August 22, with the second occurring on Saturday, August 29, with both events being presented by GEHA. Due to restrictions in place as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, capacity restrictions will be in place for both days, including a maximum of 2,000 current Season Ticket Members on Saturday, August 22, and up to 5,000 current Season Ticket Members on Saturday, August 29. To celebrate the team's Super Bowl LIV championship in a moment that includes at least a portion of the club's Season Ticket Members, a new championship flag will be raised on the flagpole above the west end zone to match the club's Super Bowl IV championship flag at the Season Ticket Member event on Saturday, August 29. A new championship banner will also be unveiled at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 10 during pregame festivities prior to the NFL Kickoff Game vs. the Houston Texans.

All Season Ticket Members who have applied their 2020 payment towards the 2021 season will receive direct email communication with instructions on how to redeem a spot to one of the two special Season Ticket Member days at Arrowhead through Chiefs Kingdom Rewards. Season Ticket Members who redeem a spot will receive four tickets and a parking pass. Due to physical distancing guidelines, all tickets must be used by known guests and cannot be transferred.

All Season Ticket Members will be subject to the policies and protocols that have been outlined for a safe return to Arrowhead Stadium, which are available at www.chiefs.com/stadium/covid/, including mandatory masks for all fans. Fans attending each event are required to bring and wear their own mask upon entering the complex and stadium.

There will be a GEHA-sponsored, Chiefs-branded gift and a radio receiver earpiece provided to fans upon arriving in their seats, allowing fans to tune in to the Chiefs Radio Network crew for a live closed-circuit broadcast during practice. Complimentary food and beverage options will be provided, with some additional options being available for purchase.

Other important notes about the new fan experience that will be in place for these Season Ticket Member events:

  • All bags, including previously approved clear bags, will be prohibited inside the stadium to minimize contact in the security screening process. Guests should only bring necessary items that can fit in their pockets. For guests with medical needs, items must be brought in a clear plastic bag and guests should present their bag to staff during the screening process. For a list of all prohibited and permitted items, please visit www.chiefs.com/stadium/prohibitedpermitteditems.
  • All concessions and retail points of sale will be cashless. Fans can utilize traditional credit and debit card payment options, as well as tap and mobile pay platforms.
  • No smoking will be allowed inside the stadium, including vaping. Spitting of any kind (tobacco, sunflower seeds, etc.) is also prohibited.
  • STMs will have dedicated entry points and zones based on seating location to minimize contact with other guests.

Both practices will start at 9:15 a.m. and will last until approximately 11:30 a.m. All parking will be general admission only, and vehicles will be parked in every-other parking space to allow adequate physical distancing between groups of guests.

Season Ticket Members with questions or in need of more information on these exclusive practices can contact the Chiefs Fan Experience department at (816) 920-4237 or fanexperience@chiefs.com.
