• Kansas City holds a 60-54-1 lead in the all-time regular season series against the Chargers and a 25-31-1 record away from Arrowhead.
• The Chiefs have won eight straight against Los Angeles, which ties the longest streak against the Chargers in franchise history. The Chiefs also won eight straight from 1990 to 1993.
• Last season, rookie running back Kareem Hunt scored three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving) against Los Angeles. He had 327 yards rushing and 62 yards receiving in those two games. The 327 rushing yards are a franchise record against a single opponent in a season.
