Final Regular Season Power Rankings | Where do the Chiefs Land Heading into the Playoffs?

Here’s a look at the latest NFL power rankings from around the web

The Kansas City Chiefs wrapped up the 2020 regular season with a franchise-best 14-2 record, and while there's still work to be done in the playoffs, the experts agree that the Chiefs are the top team in the NFL heading into the postseason.

Kansas City held on to the top spot in NFL.com’s “power rankings” this week, as analyst Dan Hanzus cited the Chiefs' advantage of having additional rest before kicking off the Divisional Round.

"The Chiefs get to enjoy what amounts to a double bye ahead of their Divisional Round matchup at Arrowhead in two weeks. With some teams, you might worry about rust or general malaise creeping in, but the defending champs deserve the benefit of the doubt."

The folks at Bleacher Report also ranked the Chiefs atop their final regular season rankings, and their analysis was simple enough:

"I'm not betting against a team led by Patrick Mahomes."

And 17 weeks after beginning the season as Sports Illustrated's top team, that’s where the Chiefs remain as the playoffs get underway:

"With 256 games in the books, the Chiefs end up right where they were when the season started: holding down the No. 1 spot."

Here's a look at where the Chiefs landed in a handful of other power rankings from around the web:
