KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, September 20 at Arrowhead Stadium. Fans can find important information and reminders regarding Sunday's game below.
Legends Game
Sunday night's matchup against the Indianapolis Colts will also serve as the Chiefs annual Legends Game, honoring the newest inductee into the Chiefs Hall of Fame, LB Derrick Johnson. Drafted 15th overall in the 2005 NFL Draft, Johnson spent 13 seasons of his 14-year NFL career with the franchise (2005-17), earning two First-Team All-Pro selections in 2011 and 2015, and four Pro Bowl honoree recognitions (2011-13, 2015). His 1,262 total tackles as a linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs are the most in franchise history, and he is the only player, who wore a red, gold, and white jersey, to record more than 1,000 tackles. Johnson was named to the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame in 2020. He will be inducted into the Chiefs Ring of Honor at halftime and be recognized for a career that firmly established him as one of the greatest linebackers in franchise history.
Hispanic Heritage Month
Sunday night's game will honor Hispanic Heritage Month as part of the NFL's Por La Cultura initiative. Highlighting the rich cultural heritage and contributions of the Latino community within the NFL, the Chiefs will honor their 2026 Latino Youth Honors nominees, Northeast High School tackle football player Ian Calderon as well as Shawnee Mission West High School girls Flag Football player Jordan Garcia. In partnership with Procter & Gamble, NFL Latino Youth Honors recognizes outstanding high school tackle and Flag Football athletes from around the country for their academic and athletic excellence.
El Centro, Inc. President and CEO Erica Andrade will throw Sunday night's "First Pass" to Chiefs Legend Kendall Gammon. El Centro, Inc. is a non-profit focused on providing educational, social, and economic services for Hispanic families in the Kansas City region.
Game Entertainment
In celebration of the Chiefs Legends game, the NFL Players Choir will perform the National Anthem. Founded by Super Bowl Gospel Celebration Executive Producer Melanie Few in 2008, the choir is made up of more than 40 current and former NFL players, including Super Bowl champions, Pro Bowlers, Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year recipients, and Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees. Directed by Grammy Award-winning artist Donnie McClurkin, the choir has performed for over 16 years at marquee events such as NFL Honors, the NFL Draft Concert Series, Super Bowl Weekend celebrations, and charitable events benefiting organizations including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the American Cancer Society. Their performances highlight the intersection of sports, music, and philanthropy. Immediately following the National Anthem, a ceremonial flyover will be conducted by four T-38 Talons flying out of Whiteman Air Force Base, located south of Knob Noster, Mo.
The Lenexa Fire Department will present Sunday's colors. The department originated in the late 19th century, evolving from a reliance on horse-drawn equipment to, over a century later, a modern agency operating six fire stations with a top-tier ISO Public Protection Classification safety rating of 1.
At halftime, Chiefs Legend Derrick Johnson will be unveiled in the Kansas City Chiefs Ring of Honor.

Parking lots for Sunday's game open at 3 p.m. All fans are required to purchase digital parking passes in advance online as cash is not accepted at toll booths. Fans who are unable to attend Sunday's game can tune in to KFNZ-FM (96.5 The Fan), the Home of the
Chiefs Radio Network, as "Voice of the Chiefs" Mitch Holthus, former Chiefs WR Danan Hughes and sideline reporter Josh Klingler call the action. Radio coverage will also be available on 98.7 FM (KNSS) in the Wichita area.
Tico Sports will produce a Spanish-language broadcast available on the Audacy app ("Chiefs en Espanol") within the Kansas City market and on KSSA La Ke Buena (105.9 FM and 1470 AM) serving Garden City and Liberal, Kansas, featuring Oscar Monterroso, Hannah Bassham, and sideline reporter Alvaro Alvarez.

Stadium Gates and Mobile Entry
All Arrowhead Stadium gates will open at 5:30 p.m. for the 7:20 p.m. kickoff. Gates for guests with tickets on the CommunityAmerica Club Level will open at 5 p.m. Guests are reminded to access their mobile tickets ++and parking passes in advance of the event and add them to their mobile wallet for expedited entry.
Ford Tailgate District
The Ford Tailgate District, located in Lot M and on the north side of the stadium closest to Lancer Lane, will open at 3:30 p.m. The Ford Tailgate District is a free space for all fans to enjoy drinks, food trucks, tailgating games and live entertainment leading up to kickoff. This week the district will feature live music from Big Time Grain Co, DJ Lazer with emcee Spencer Davis. There will be special performances by Chiefs Rumble & the Chiefs Cheerleaders. Chiefs Legends appearance by 2006 Chiefs Hall of Honor inductee, Neil Smith. Drum Deck
The Chiefs introduced the Drum Deck in 2019 as the home for two gameday traditions – the Drum Honoree and the Tony DiPardo Spirit Leader. Chiefs Legend Derrick Johnson, who is being inducted into the Chiefs Hall of Fame, will serve as this week's Drum Honoree.
The Tony DiPardo Spirit Leader will be Private First-Class Franky Martinez. Martinez serves as a 19K M1 Armor Crewman (Tanker), having first enlisted to build a better future for himself and his family. Now a member of Alpha Company, he aims to earn his tanker boots and eventually achieve the rank of Sergeant.
Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat presented by United Airlines
To help celebrate the franchise's 60th season in 2019, the Kansas City Chiefs introduced the Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat at Arrowhead Stadium. For each home game, the club selects a Season Ticket Member to honor with this special recognition. The two gold seats are located in Section 121 of the lower bowl, symbolically positioned under Lamar Hunt's name in the team's Ring of Honor.
This week's Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat, presented by United Airlines, honoree is Frank Piper. Piper is a U.S. Army Reserve veteran and retired VA healthcare leader who spent decades serving veterans through both military and civilian roles. He and his wife, Georgie, have been Season Ticket Members since 1989.
Hunt Family Foundation 50/50 Raffle
This week's 50/50 Raffle beneficiary are the Kansas City Ambassadors Foundation. Raffle tickets will be at the new standard pricing of 400 for $100, 150 for $40, 60 for $20, and 10 for $10. Fans who are not at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday can also participate in the Hunt Family Foundation 50/50 Raffle by visiting chiefs5050.com/.
Online ticket sales are currently live, but fans must be located in the states of Missouri or Kansas at the time they purchase a ticket online. In-person raffle tickets will remain on sale through the end of the third quarter.
The winning ticket will be announced in-stadium and posted online during the fourth quarter of the game and winners do not need to be present to win. Credit and debit cards will be the only form of payment accepted by 50/50 Raffle sellers.

Arrowhead Stadium will once again offer value pricing on select concession items during the 2026 season. Fans can purchase $5 hot dogs, pretzels, beer, and 16 oz. fountain sodas at value concession locations in Sections 215 and 238, while 16 oz. fountain sodas priced at $5 will also be available at concession stands throughout the stadium. In addition to these value offerings, fans can enjoy a wide variety of food and beverage options at concession locations across Arrowhead Stadium, including Little Caesars locations in Sections 107, 125, 315 and 345.
Cashless
All concession stands and retail points of sale are completely cashless. In addition to traditional scan and chip reader options for credit/debit cards, all fixed points of sale offer mobile tap or scan payment options, including Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay. In-stadium hawkers and vendors are credit card only.
