The Kansas City Chiefs remained atop the AFC with a thrilling victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night, and as it turns out, the victory also moved Kansas City into the No. 1 position in several of the various NFL "power rankings" from around the web.

Kansas City took over the top spot in NFL.com’s rankings this week, jumping the Philadelphia Eagles to claim the No. 1 position for the first time this season. "Around the NFL" writer Dan Hanzus praised tight end Travis Kelce in his analysis:

"…Kelce, 33, is having one of his finest seasons and he's been especially unstoppable in front of the biggest audiences: Eight of his league-leading 11 TDs have come in prime-time games."

The Chiefs also landed at No. 1 in Yahoo! Sports’ rankings this week following last Sunday's comeback victory. Here's what writer Frank Schwab had to say about the Chiefs:

"Patrick Mahomes probably won his second NFL MVP award on Sunday night. Driving the Chiefs down in the final 1:46 for a game-winning touchdown to Travis Kelce was masterful."

Lastly, the folks at Sports Illustrated provided some creative commentary alongside Kansas City's No. 1 position in their rankings:

"There is no way to defend this team; there is only acceptance of what is."
