65 Toss Power Trap Productions, the Chiefs In-House Production Team, Debuts Trailer for 'The Lost Game,' a New Original Documentary Premiering Tonight on Youtube

KANSAS CITY, Mo – The Kansas City Chiefs have released the official trailer for The Lost Game, a new 30-minute original documentary from 65 Toss Power Trap Productions that premieres tonight exclusively on the Chiefs Official YouTube Channel. Watch the trailer HERE.

The Lost Game tells the little-known story of a barnstorming basketball team created by Lamar Hunt during club's early years as the Dallas Texans, which served as an innovative offseason effort that evolved into a decades-long tradition connecting communities and raising money for local causes.

"The release of The Lost Game marks an important milestone for the Chiefs internal production team. This long-form documentary represents a departure from the football-centric content we've traditionally produced, exploring the history, passion, and innovation that defined Lamar Hunt," said Rob Alberino Jr., Vice President of Content and Production. "Two years ago, Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt walked into my office with a Dallas Texans basketball uniform and a simple question: is there a story here? Our team jumped at the opportunity. From there, the Special Projects division of 65 Toss Power Trap Productions brought it to life. The result is a film that takes Chiefs Kingdom into a parallel sports world – one that educates, surprises, and entertains at every turn."

Spanning the organization's early days in Dallas through its move to Kansas City, the documentary chronicles how what began as a creative promotional initiative became a lasting piece of sports and civic history – bringing together players, fans, and communities across generations.

The film features interviews and perspectives from Chiefs legends and sports figures including Pro Football Hall of Famers Bobby Bell, Willie Lanier, and Will Shields, alongside contributors such as Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt, longtime team historian Bob Moore, and Kansas City Royals Legend George Brett.

Following last night's trailer release, fans can tune in for the full premiere of The Lost Game tonight at 7 p.m. CT, streaming exclusively on the Chiefs Official YouTube Channel.
