Chiefs Introduce European Wolf Pack to Join Beloved KC Wolf

Four New Mascots Bring Local Flavor and Fan Connection to the Club's International Markets

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – On Monday, the Kansas City Chiefs unveiled four new market-specific mascots – one for each of the European countries the Chiefs have NFL Global Markets Program rights for – that tap into the local markets' cultures and feature market-specific names.

"KC Wolf has long been a beloved part of our fan experience, and now we're excited to expand that tradition with a global twist," said Lara Krug, Chiefs EVP and Chief Media & Marketing Officer. "Our new European wolf pack is more than just mascots – they're a celebration of culture, connection, and the Chiefs commitment to building community across borders in a way that's fun, authentic, and uniquely tied to each market."

The European wolf appearance is different than the domestic KC Wolf that Chiefs fans around the globe have come to know and love for more than three decades. All European wolves are based on the Eurasian Wolf, featuring a mix of tan, white, as well as shades of red, grey, and black, compared to the grey and white fur of the Grey (American) Wolf, which KC Wolf is based on. Physically, the European wolfpack features a narrower head, high ears, longer legs, thinner fur on the tail, and a sleeker overall body. In addition, each of the new wolves has a unique personality and persona that represents their market.

KC O'Wolf (Ireland)

A spirited trickster with a golden heart, KC O'Wolf channels Irish charm, wild energy, and unwavering devotion, and rallies fans with laughter, loyalty, and a wink of mischief. Quick with a joke and never far from playful chaos, KC O'Wolf brings a touch of leprechaun energy to every crowd. Fiercely loyal, this is the kind of mascot everyone will want to share a selfie – or a pint – with.

KC Wolfington (UK)

A clever, charismatic mascot with sharp banter, steadfast loyalty, and quiet swagger, KC Wolfington brings Chiefs spirit to English fans with cheeky charm, crowd-savvy energy, and just the right amount of chaos. Known for clever antics, pranks, and well-timed one-liners, KC Wolfington is the ultimate competitor, with a proper sporting mindset, and never backs down from a challenge.

KC Wolfgang (Germany)

A bold yet lovable figure with a dry sense of humor, disciplined energy, and unshakable loyalty, KC Wolfgang rallies fans with quiet confidence and clever charm. Always dependable, KC Wolfgang is as reliable as German engineering. The ultimate competitor, every action is about supporting the team, pushing them forward, and outlasting the opponent.

KC Lobazo (Spain)

Bursting with imagination, swagger, and unmistakable charm, KC Lobazo embodies Spanish soul, street-smart style, and fiery passion. Fearless and bold, he rallies fans with presence and flair, bringing the same spark you'd find in Spain's bustling plazas. Kansas City and Seville have shared a sister-city relationship since 1969, one reflected in Seville's Avenida de Kansas City and KC's Spanish-influenced Country Club Plaza. That cultural bond makes Seville the perfect birthplace for KC Lobazo.

These new wolves will serve as cultural ambassadors, helping fans connect to the team through gameday activations, community events, and digital content that reflect each market's traditions and spirit.

With international marketing and commercialization rights in each of the markets the NFL will hold a game in 2025, the Chiefs are the only club that can activate around each game in the NFL's international slate in 2025. Fans should stay tuned for where and when the respective wolf will make their inaugural appearance in their market this fall.
