NFL Power Rankings: Where Do the Chiefs Rank After Sunday’s Victory Over Oakland?

The Kansas City Chiefs were back in the win column on Sunday following the bye week, knocking off the Oakland Raiders by a score of 40-33.

Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 23-of-38 passes for 295 yards and four touchdowns in the game - becoming the fastest player to throw for 4,000 career passing yards during the contest – while finding Travis Kelce 12 times for a career-best 168 yards through the air.

It all helped Kansas City tally 40 points for a fifth time this season and maintain the top record in the AFC in addition to a high standing in this week’s “NFL power rankings” from around the web.

NFL.com analyst Elliot Harrison has Kansas City at No. 4 in his rankings, behind the New Orleans Saints, Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots, while the folks at Yahoo! Sports and ESPN ranked Kansas City as the third-best team in the league.

CBS Sports, meanwhile, bumped the Chiefs up a spot to No. 2 this week, behind only Los Angeles.

Here’s a look at where a handful of other outlets have the Chiefs this week:

NBC Sports – No. 3

Bleacher Report – No. 3

Sports Illustrated – No. 4

Sporting News – No. 4

USA Today – No. 4
