Pat Sperduto

Co-Director of College Scouting

Biography

Pat Sperduto enters his 25th year in the NFL, 17th season with Kansas City, in 2025 and is currently in his fourth season as Co-Director of College Scouting.

In Sperduto's current role, he oversees the team's college scouting efforts, identifying and evaluating potential draft prospects for the personnel department.

Prior to being elevated to this position, Sperduto served one season (2021) as Senior College Scouting Executive and spent 12 seasons (2009-20) as an Area Scout, covering various regions, including the Southeast, Midwest and Northeast.

Prior to joining the Chiefs in 2009, Sperduto spent eight seasons as a Coaching Assistant as well as a College and Pro Scout with the Tennessee Titans (2001-08).

Sperduto began his career in the Arena Football League first serving as the Head Coach for the Columbus Destroyers in 2008. He also enjoyed two different stints with the AFL's Nashville Kats, serving as the Director of Football Operations and Head Coach from 1998-2001, leading the team to two ArenaBowl appearances (2000 and 2001) before the team relocated to Atlanta as the Georgia Force. He again served as Head Coach of the expansion Nashville Kats from 2005-07. Sperduto won three AFL ArenaBowl championships with the Tampa Bay Storm, including two as a player (1991 and 1993) and one as an assistant coach (1995).

Sperduto attended UMass Boston where he played both fullback and linebacker. While there he earned All-New England Conference honors from 1987-89. He was inducted into the school's Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009.
