2026 Kansas City Chiefs Rumble Drumline auditions are now live!

The Kansas City Chiefs Rumble Drumline is one of the most exciting and energizing parts of the entire game day experience, bringing nonstop hype from the moment fans enter the stadium. General Audition Information

Preliminaries and Semifinals will be "virtual" which will include online interviews, and video submissions from each rookie or gap-vet candidate. Details will be sent to those rookie candidates who have registered for the 2026 Auditions. The audition process will begin with an online VidCruiter interview and musical video submissions, allowing candidates to showcase their skills and professionalism.

Keep in mind that material and details will be sent once registrations are received starting on April 1st. The later you register, the less time you will have to learn the material and complete your video submissions.

All candidates must be 18 years or older by June 1st, 2026.

What does it take to become a member a Rumble Drumline Member?

Becoming a drumline member requires strong musicianship, dependable professionalism, athleticism, a positive attitude, and the ability to work seamlessly as part of a team.

Is being a Rumble Drumline member a full-time job?

No. Being a Rumble Drumline member is a part-time commitment. Most members have other full-time jobs or attend college.

Do I have to relocate if selected to join the Rumble Drumline?

No, but you must be able to attend all summer rehearsals and scheduled home games and appearances.

Do the current Rumble Drumline members have to audition again?

Yes, each Rumble member must audition for the new year's team.

Is there an age requirement?

Yes. All candidates must meet the minimum age requirement, which is 18 years old, by April 1st, 2026.

Is there a cost to audition?

No.

If I want to audition for more than one instrument, do I have to submit videos for all instruments?

Yes.  To be considered for Finals on an instrument you must submit the video requirements for each one.

What if I don't have access to an instrument?

You can play on practice pads for your video.  Cymbals auditionees can opt to use their hands if there is no access to cymbals.

If I can't make it to the live finals audition, can I do a video or Zoom audition?

No.  It is a requirement for consideration to attend the entire day of finals in person.
