- Originally entered the NFL as a third-round pick (78th overall) by the New England Patriots in the 2016 NFL Draft.

- Became the first player in NFL history to start in the Super Bowl in each of his first three seasons in the NFL, starting at left guard in Super Bowls LI, LII and LIII for the New England Patriots.
