Biography

Jones was a three-star recruit from Michigan's Southfield A&T High School when signing with the Cardinals, making a strong impression in 2019 (18 tackles, four pass breakups in 12 games, two starts). He started once in eight appearances in 2020 (six tackles) and then began three of six games played in 2021 (17 tackles, one interception, three pass breakups) before suffering a season-ending injury. Jones made the most of his senior season, receiving second-team All-MAC platitudes after tying for the BSU lead with 12 pass breakups, intercepting two passes and posting 23 tackles in 11 games with nine starts.
